Free Things You Can Do To Raise Your Vibration Now

 

Life is meant to be fun and joyous! When you are in a higher vibration, things come more easily to you. Your spirit comes alive, your mind opens up and your heart becomes receptive. When you are in a higher vibration, your psychic senses are fully activated and you become a clear channel to our giving Universe.

You are a sacred, energetic spiritual being having a human experience. You are here to express your divinity. Do everything you can to feel good. It is from this place of feeling good that you are your greatest creative expression, gift to yourself and to humanity.

This journey is all about tuning out from the noise of the world and tuning in to the beautiful sound of your inner voice – your spirit. It has much to tell you!

Try any of these things to raise your vibration and watch your spirit soar:

For the Mind & Spirit

  • Meditation – sitting, walking, driving, folding laundry. There are hundreds of ways to meditate. The point is to be still, quiet the mind and pull your energy in.
  • Affirmative prayer – connecting with Source (God) and behaving as if your request has already been answered. Because it has. Your job is to match the vibration of it to bring it into physical form.
  • Mantras and affirmations – repeating words and phrases that reflect your desired outcome. “I am calm. I am peace. I see this situation with love. Prosperity is mine. Perfect health is mine.”
  • Positive media – Abraham-Hicks Daily Quotes , HayHouse Radio, AgapeLive.com live and archived streaming, Mike Dooley’s Daily Notes from the Universe. Feed your mind well.
  • Acts of kindness. Whatever you think is lacking in your life, do that for someone else. Reverse the flow of energy and activate the law of circulation.
  • Listen to music you love!
  • Appreciate what you have – observe the beauty and magnificence that is around you in nature, people, beauty, kindness… it’s all around you. Take a minute to notice it.
  • Gratitude list – find the simplest thing to be grateful for and watch your list grow.
  • Go on a gossip & complain fast – refrain from going down other people’s rabbit holes and be mindful of the words exiting your mouth. There is tremendous power in words.
  • Turn off the TV and read something enlightened.
  • Creative visualization – send angel hugs to family members, imagine the life of your dreams, hold a committee meeting. Imagination is your psychic gateway to manifesting everything. Open it.
  • Have a short memory – be easy to forgive. This lets everyone off the hook, including yourself.
  • Surround yourself with uplifting people.

For the Body

  • Breathe – stop and breathe. Center yourself on your breath. Breathe before you speak. It is the fastest way to ground yourself.
  • Chakra clearing – get one from a healer or give yourself one. Search YouTube for “chakra clearing guided meditation” for the many free videos.
  • Eat high frequency, colorful foods, yellow, green and orange fruits & veggies. Watch your energy soar.
  • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink lots of clean, filtered water and lemon water.
  • Bless your food and water – Watch the late Masaru Emoto’s water experiments on YouTube.
  • Move your body – walk, jump, stretch, hula-hoop, dance, ride your bike, play!
  • Get some sun and soak up the rays – just a few minutes a day will do.
  • Take a yoga class – yoga is a full body mindful meditation that has profound effects. Many communities offer free yoga. Check out YouTube for yoga instruction.
  • Hug someone. Smile at strangers. Somebody has the start the conversation. Might as well be you!
  • Move your stuff around your house – Feng Shui, organize, lighten your load, give stuff away.
  • Take bath salts. Visit the beach. The negative ions of salt water are extremely healing.
  • Walk barefoot outdoors. Ground yourself. Connect with your Mother.
  • Pamper yourself. Sleep in. Be gentle with yourself.

It is your essence that is always connected to source energy, divine intelligence or God. This universal perfection goes by many names and every culture around the globe recognizes it.

This source energy is infinite wisdom. You possess it and can access it whenever you want. In fact, you are immersed in it – swimming in it, much like a fish swimming in a bowl of water and not realizing he’s wet. Infinite intelligence is everywhere. It is simply a thought away.

Remember the Sabbath – Rest and Rejuvenate for Psychic Clarity

One of the basic tenets of living a psychic lifestyle is self-care. In order to receive messages or tune in to Spirit, we have to be clear channels. One way to keep our circuits clear is through the simple action of rest. Yes, rest. For some people, resting is hard work. Unplugging, especially during these electronically enhanced days, can be challenging. It’s apparent that our society has become obsessive about their personal electronic devices. The external world has become much more noisy by our own invitation.

Some of you know, I was raised Catholic. I’m not a practicing Catholic now, but I have to say I’m grateful for being raised with solid spiritual principles and practices. They can be good medicine for our ultimate well-being. That being said, the 4th Commandment is to observe the Sabbath. Now, it doesn’t matter which day (Saturday for Jews, Sunday for Christians, etc.) you observe, so long as you observe one!

What I mean by observing the Sabbath is to unplug from work, chores, phones and other “business” for one full day. It is said that God created the heavens and the earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th. It’s necessary to nurture and honor our spirit and to rest and recharge our batteries – to enjoy life and celebrate the reasons why we work so hard in the first place.

I had to remind myself of this just yesterday.  A couple of clients really wanted to see me and I made an exception to work on my day off – until I woke up Sunday morning and knew that I needed to honor my down time. I called them to explain and they were both very gracious about it, so I went about my day reading at the park overlooking the bluff, soaking up sun and fun vibes from the people around me. My day was leisurely, I had no agenda, no schedule and I only used my cell phone for a watch. That’s progress for this former Type A girl!

As a result, I’ve come full circle in my commitment to my down time… to observe a holy day of rest. It is mentally, physically and spiritually necessary for our health, success and well-being. It puts us in an energetic state of allowing and receiving. If you don’t already observe one day a week as your “do nothing” day, please do! It will make a profound difference in your life and the act of doing nothing will yield big rewards.

How to Become an Empowered Empath

The first step in cultivating a peaceful and empowered life is to embrace your spiritual self. You are a spiritual being having a human experience. The late Wayne Dyer said, “Begin to see yourself as a soul with a body rather than a body with a soul.”

The words “spirit” and “soul” are interchangeable in my vocabulary. Your spirit is your life force, whose energetic imprint is entirely unique to you and you alone. Just as your fingerprint is one of a kind, so is your spirit. Your body is a miraculous vehicle through which you get stuff done and experience life on this planet in this particular human incarnation. It temporarily houses your brilliant spirit that is part and parcel of Source Energy, Divine Intelligence, God… use whatever term works best for you.

What is the essence of your spirit? Energy. Everything is energy. Every unit of energy contains information that can be read, felt or sensed by people whose empathic abilities have not been shut down. I believe we are all equipped with empathy at birth, some more than others, much like athletic, artistic or musical tendencies, and it can most definitely be cultivated and nurtured or stymied and eradicated.

Since we are constantly swimming in an energetic field fraught with our own energy, the energy of other people, places and things, we become unaware, much like a fish that is always swimming in water and not realizing he’s wet. This is liberating news.

About Soul Mates…

 

As you can imagine, in my practice I get so many questions about soul mates. I have helped hundreds of people come to a softer understanding about what soul mates really are, so they can find peace and solace in their relationships.

My definition of soul mate is simple: A soul mate is a person of significance who comes into our lives to teach us about love.

We have many soul mates and they are not confined to romantic relationships. Soul mates consist of mothers, fathers, teachers, relatives, friends and lovers. They include anyone who has made an impact or impression on our hearts or in our minds. They are the ones who stick.

The Power of Prayer is YOU

When we pray, we are in a mindful and proactive mode of creation. This is the miracle and the power of prayer. It is US activating our ability to receive the benevolence of the ever-giving Universe. It is us simply focusing and controlling our thoughts to achieve an outcome, while the Universe responds.

We are always creating our experiences by our thoughts and feelings. Most of the time, we are creating by default – allowing our fears and subconscious thoughts to run the show.

Praying allows us to be conscious of our thoughts. Praying helps us be telepathically mindful. Practice mindfulness and pray often to create a reality you love!

The Goldilocks Effect

Goldilocks

Most of us think we know what we want. But do we really? If you think about it, there is so much available to us that we haven’t even considered – things that exists beyond our awareness, so how do we know if we want them or not?

Take the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Lost, hungry and tired, Goldilocks came upon a cabin in the woods. Seeking shelter and sustenance, she let herself in and spied three bowls of porridge sitting on a dining table. Famished, she began eating from one bowl and quickly discovered the porridge was way too hot. That didn’t stop her from trying to quench her hunger. She simply ate from the next bowl and found the porridge to be too cold. Determined, she tried the last bowl of porridge, and to her delight, it was just right, so she gobbled it up and her hunger was finally satisfied.

How would Goldilocks have known that the third bowl of porridge was perfect for her if she didn’t experience the first two? She wouldn’t have.
